In a valley where the landscape meets silence, our “Cabana d’aCourela” offers a serene retreat in the heart of the rural borderlands (a short distance from Elvas and Badajoz). Surrounded by almond trees and aloe vera, and by the calm of the Alentejo countryside, this is an ideal place for those seeking a pause, simplicity, and contact with nature.
The “cabin,” cozy and functional, features two bedrooms —one with a double bed and another with two single beds—, a private bathroom, a shower, and a living room with an equipped kitchenette, perfect for small shared meals at d’aCourela’s pace.
Outside, a shaded pergola with a table and chairs invites long breakfasts, reading with a view, or evening conversations. The space is designed for resting, breathing, and living slowly (even cycling contemplatively, by prior arrangement), disconnected from Wi-Fi and the like, in an environment that combines comfort, authenticity, and simplicity.
During your stay, you will find a carefully prepared basket with breakfast products, accompanied by a selection of tea and coffee, so you can start your day in the best way. You will also have the pleasure of trying our handcrafted soaps, made with natural ingredients and great care, designed to make your experience even more special.
Here, time slows down. The birdsong and the scent of flowering trees remind us that life is also this — and this is exactly what d’aCourela do Alentejo wishes to offer to its visitors.
